How do the BBQ samples work?

The sampling is different on both days. Saturday is the Chicken Wing Challenge competition plus the competitors will serve specialty dishes such as salted caramel brownies and bacon wrapped dates. The competitors will cook up their chicken wings and deliver it to the judges at 4pm, and cook a lot of extra for the general public to try as well as some other creations! On Sunday the competitors will be cooking brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs. Most vendors will serve the public Sunday but some may choose to focus just on judging. Samples are typically a 2 oz portion. Other excellent BBQ restaurants will be on hand to keep everyone eating well all day long.

How many teams will compete?

We will have about 20 teams from across the Northwest. The full list will be posted on our website one month before the event.
